This email is coming to you from Jackson Hole Wyoming where Spring has Sprung, and we’ve been skiing warm conditions all week. And, man oh man, it’s pretty here!
Here’s what I found fun, interesting, or worth talking about this week 🙂
My latest podcast –
AAJ 240: Random Update & Thoughts (van life, travel, virus)
This is a completely random update and includes some thoughts on the corona virus that’s going around. As well as what we plan to do next in our van life adventures. And a few other things…
What I’m reading –
Worried About Coronavirus? Life Has a 100% Death Rate by Bereinige Schreiner, Ph.D.
Just a nicely written post that made me feel more at ease about the current freak out.
What I’m eating –
The Nooner Burger from Liberty Burgers Yelp
When we are in full swing training mode (like we are right now) for the Leadville Trail Marathon, it becomes very important that we meet (or exceed) our calorie/protein/fat/carb needs (which are very specific). Otherwise we lose too much weight, and we’d prefer to not lose any weight (read muscle) during this training season.
So, this week we chose to have our cheat meal at Liberty Burger in Jackson Hole.
The story is that went to Liberty Burgers a few years ago after a LONG hike with Emily’s parents, where Chuck (Emily’s dad) and I thought the Nooner might have been the best burger we’d eaten. So, it was important that I confirmed this drastic statement.
Well, it’s been confirmed! This is one of the best (if not the best) burgers that I’ve eaten. And you should test it for yourself if you’re ever in the area.
What I’m snacking on –
Mary’s Gone Crackers, jalapeño crackers on amazon
Now back to the healthy side… these are some organic, zero sugar, TASTY, crunchy stuff for snackers!
We bought one box and I ate half of it in about 10 mins. Oops! 🙂
Also, great dipped in guac. Double oops! Not really.
That’s what I have for you this week. We’re thinking of packing our van full of food and driving up a secluded mountain (that has cell coverage) and no people for a few weeks…. I wish you the best, and if there’s anything that I can do for you, just ask!
Cheers! Stay positive!
PS I’m giving free access to our Level 1 and Level 2 at-home workouts for the next month, so you can stay home and have great workouts that require no equipment. No gym/virus exposure necessary. Just shoot me an email letting me know you want access.
