I’m taking this whole week off of CrossFit training, and let me tell you, it’s been a struggle. I know that it’s good to take a full week off a few times a year, but my mind just wants to keep training.
I’m addicted to that feeling of working hard. It’s a suffering. It’s a feeling of accomplishment. It’s a feeling of improvement.
I know I’m crazy, but I thought you might be able to relate…
Anyway, only a few more days to go until I’ll train again on Monday.

What I’m drinking – Green Tea all week long! A variety of Nanami green teas to be exact. I’m taking their #7daydrinkgreen challenge. I have to say that I’m enjoying the Matcha the best, but the Hojicha night time tea is also nice.
What I’m reading – Spartan UP! A Take-No-Prisoners Guide to Overcoming Obstacles and Achieving Peak Performance in Life by Joe De Sena. Joe is the creator of the Spartan races, and the book definitely promotes doing Spartan races, but there is a really great underlining message that I completely relate to. Essentially what he’s saying is that if you put yourself into a really tough physical challenge (like a Spartan race) it makes everyday stressors seem much less concerning. And I totally agree with this, and believe that everyone should find something crazy to do, because it really will put things into perspective.

My most popular post on Instagram – Filming movements for my Official IKKOS channel. This will actually be really cool when it’s ready. Through virtual reality you will be able to learn CrossFit movements exactly as I do them. Pretty cool, right… I’m finishing up the filming today, and should have the channel finished in the next couple of weeks.
