After a great weekend full of workouts I was pumped to hit the gym today, and because I need to improve my cleans the CrossFit workout “Hammer” was perfect! Here’s what the workout looks like:
Five rounds, each for time, of:
135 pound Power clean, 5 reps
135 pound Front squat, 10 reps
135 pound Jerk, 5 reps
20 Pull-ups
Rest 90 seconds
As I’m writing this I just noticed that I only did 3 rounds instead of the prescribed 5 rounds. That sucks! I felt like the clean, front squat, and jerk were a little too easy… Dang! I was doing strict pull ups because I was using a bar that I couldn’t kip on and they were by far the hardest part of the workout. I’m sorry, but I hate it when I do less than I’m supposed to on a workout and as I’m writing this that’s all I can think about! Tomorrow I’m going to have to double up on my WOD’s. Maybe I’ll repeat this workout tomorrow so I can get the 5 rounds in. Shoot!!! :-/
I also, saw the photos from the Ultimate Direction photo shoot that I did on Friday. The photos turned out just amazing!!! Stephen Matera of Matera Photo is a great photographer! You should definitely checkout his site www.MateraPhoto.com!
