Today’s email is coming to you from one of our favorite places in the U.S., Moab, Utah! We’re absolutely STOKED to have our moms tagging along for van life adventuring AND hanging out with our awesome friends from Alaska!
Here’s what I’ve found fun, interesting, or noteworthy this week…
Another Nod to Mindset: A Book You NEED TO READ –
If you’re a parent, leader, boss, talk to other people, or even talk to yourself… you need this book!
I’ve never done this before, but as I dive deeper into Mindset (which I recommended last week), I’m finding it to be a GAME CHANGER. It’s incredible to realize how many things we say to kids, friends, or even ourselves, thinking we’re being supportive, and are actually shutting down learning and growth!
Seriously, if you’re a parent or just someone who interacts with people… this book is a must-read!
Now, just to be clear, I’m not a parent, but I can’t imagine any parent or grandparent I know wouldn’t want to understand the simple phrases they should and shouldn’t use. For example, saying “you’re a really hard worker” encourages growth, while “you’re great at that” can actually stop learning in its tracks. #MindBlown

What We’re Eating –
Same as always. Consistency is key! It makes tracking easy and helps us pinpoint what’s working (or not).

Hardest Workout We’ve Done in a While –
For time:
2 mile run
100 DB deadlifts RX 50/35’s
80 push-ups
60 KB swings RX 53/35
40 DB front squats RX 50/35’s
20 DB overhead press RX 50/35’s
10 single leg squats, right leg holding KB in goblet RX 50/35
10 single leg squats, left leg holding KB in goblet RX 50/35
We tackled this at the Mesa Verde campground the other day. It was a major test for both body and mind!
Give yourself an hour+ for the warm-up and the workout.

That’s what I’ve got for you this week. Here’s to a weekend filled with fun, tons of physical activity, and a healthy dose of growth!
Cheers!
