Today I decided to have a video edition of the CrossFit Ironman Training Journal. I have a video that talks about my first CrossFit workout that was 20 minutes of as many rounds as possible of 25 shoulder presses with 35 pound dumbbells and 25 walking lunges. I finished with 6 rounds and 21 presses. The shoulder presses really rocked me!
The second workout of the day was one I got from my facebook buddy John Kozina. It was min 1: 1 burpee, min 2: 2 burpees, min 3: 3 burpees, min 4: 4 burpees, etc, and you continue until you can’t keep up with the minutes. For this workout I got to min 17: 17 burpees, and then died on the 18th minute, getting only 7 burpees. But wait! It doesn’t stop there! At that point you take your last minute of burpees and multiply it by 70%. With the number that you get (I got 12) you do 6 more rounds of burpees. Fun times!
