This email is coming to you from Chelan WA, where the weather report says we could get 1-3 inches of snow today. I’ll believe it when I see it. Right now I can see blue sky’s.
Here’s what I found fun, interesting, or noteworthy this week…

My annual Black Friday podcast/post –
If you like to hunt for deals this time of year… these are the things that I have my eye on, because of previous Black Friday deals, the company has let me know what’s coming, or my own wishful thinking.
What I’m reading –
Another great find from my man Steve! It’s Time to Drain Lake Powell is a great, informative piece about how the Glen Canyon dam (which regulates water flow into the Grand Canyon), first, should have never been constructed, and second, is reaching the end of it’s lifespan.
I believe that more people need to know the story of Glen Canyon, and hopefully in our lifetime we will be able to see the canyon again.
Rocking NEW mountain bike video –
The MOST flowy trail in Bend Oregon, Met-Win for the win!
Thought that I’ve been pondering –
HOLIDAY FITNESS GAINS – Yes you can make awesome fitness gains during the holiday’s. Most people eat their little hearts out during the holiday’s and think that all is trashed as far as staying fit, so they eat more. This thinking is so backwards!
Your body needs fuel to improve, the holiday’s are providing extra fuel, all you need is the stimulus to use the fuel correctly.
SO, it’s time to ramp up your high intensity and bodybuilding workout routines, and all that extra food you’re consuming will be put to good use. Yeah, it’s still possible that you gain some body fat, BUT I guarantee you will also add some sexy looking muscles! And it will be FAR less body fat than if you eat and do nothing.
Here’s what you do, find a hard CrossFit, HIIT, weight lifting, and/or bodybuilding program, and really throw yourself into it! And on the days that you know you’re going to gorge yourself… really crush yourself in the gym prior to the gorging. That’s it! Simple!
You do this and you will thank me come January. You are welcome! Get to work!

Cheers!
