Many a time I’ve had people tell me that they’re going to get into shape before coming to CrossFit, or CrossFit is for young people, or I have an injury so CrossFit isn’t for me. The excuses go on and on! I’m very lucky in that my mother got into CrossFit around the same time that I did, and after being consistent with it for almost two years, she now CRUSHES workouts! So when I hear the “I’m too old for CrossFit” excuse, I just laugh, and when that happens they know something is up. Then I tell them about how awesome my mom is, and the the excuses stop there. BUT I know that a lot of people might not have someone that they know personally who has demonstrated that CrossFit is an ageless sport (and virtually slows the aging process to a crawl), so I want to show you an awesome interview that my good friend Corey McGee (owner of Mercer Island CrossFit) did of Lois Charlton, the 3rd fittest woman in the world in the 60+ age division.
