This has been a great start to the day! I woke up, ate my eggs with spinach and string cheese (YUM!) and had oatmeal and blueberries, went to Studio Nine for an awesome massage from Megan, and then completed a tough rowing and one arm dumbbell snatch workout! I’m not sure if I could come up with a better way to start the day! I will say that my legs were a little wobbly trying to row after the massage, but I’m fine with that :-)! If you’re looking for a great massage I’d highly recommend Megan at Studio Nine in Woodinville!
Here’s the workout:
Row 1000m
50 1 arm snatches (25 each arm) @ 40lbs
Row 750m
40 1 arm snatches
Row 500m
20 1 arm snatches
Like I said above the rowing was pretty tough. The last time I rowed I remembered being able to get into a groove, but that groove was nowhere to be found today. It was more of a burning sensation that just seemed to get worse and worse as the time went on! LOL! The snatches weren’t too bad and I alternated arms at either 5 or 10 reps depending on how I was feeling.
My CrossFit Endurance workout this afternoon was a Tabata treadmill session that consisted of setting the treadmill at an incline of 12% and the speed of 8.3. These Tabata treadmill sessions started off really tough but they keep getting easier and easier!
